She chairs the Audit and Finance Committee, ensuring sound fiscal oversight and accountability. As a member of both the Governance and Nominating Committee and the Economics Committee, Kristen plays a key role in strengthening board effectiveness and shaping policy that supports the evolving role of pharmacists in the healthcare system.

    Kristen serves on the Acquisition Committee for PharmaCorp Rx, where she provides strategic guidance and expert advice on the evaluation and acquisition of target pharmacies.     • COVID19 therapeutics advisory board chair (March 2025)

      • Served as Chair of a COVID-19 therapeutics advisory board, leading extensive pre-work and collaboration with the brand to refine objectives and shape the strategic direction of the sessions. Identified and recruited participants, guided the development of discussion materials, and shared relevant scientific data to ensure informed dialogue. Led both large group and breakout discussions, skillfully keeping conversations focused and productive while uncovering real-world barriers faced by community pharmacists. The insights generated directly informed Pfizer’s strategy and the development of practical support tools.

      • Offered frontline insights to inform national implementation strategies while representing the voice of independent community pharmacy, advocating for patient-centered, accessible care solutions within broader public health initiatives.

  • Sanofi Mens health board

    • Participated in a men's health advisory board, offering strategic insights from the community pharmacy perspective. These contributions informed approaches to patient engagement, access, and education within broader men’s health initiatives.

  • Felicity Consulting

    • Provided consulting services to a third-party firm supporting a pharmaceutical company in expanding the reach of its products across Canada. Guidance was grounded in an evidence-based approach, ensuring alignment with clinical best practices and the realities of front-line healthcare delivery.

  • Grey Bruce Vaccine Distribution Task Force

    • Contributed to the development of regional pandemic response strategies as a member of the Grey Bruce Vaccine Distribution Task Force, ensuring that local pharmacy and community healthcare perspectives were represented in planning.
